About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop care plans for patients.
  • Provide routine healthcare services, including administering prescribed medication and controlled drugs.
  • Monitor physiological observations and recognize the acutely ill patient ABCDE approach.
  • Complete patient documentation using Systemone clinical record.
  • Exercise personal and professional autonomy, making complex and critical judgments under the management of the Primary Care Clinical Lead.
Requirements
  • Recognised higher education qualification in Nursing or Paramedic Science.
  • NMC or HCPC Registration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Emergency nurse/paramedic-led care and treatments/interventions in a prison environment.
  • Emotionally resilient and able to deal with trauma injuries.
