About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patrol Team Manager to join our team at Direct Line Insurance Group plc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Roadside Technicians to deliver exceptional customer service and meet performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Roadside Technicians to ensure high-quality customer service and performance targets are met.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patrol performance and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the Patrol Dispatch Manager to optimize the customer claims journey and ensure seamless communication between teams.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance of the Green Flag patrol force fleet and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process insurance claims resulting from accidents involving Roadside Technicians and manage associated risks.
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in the vehicle repair industry, preferably at a supervisory or management level.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop direct reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of risk management and governance policies, with the ability to apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £41,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive:
