About the Position

We are looking for a Business Operations Manager to join our team at Gensler. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing financial accounts and providing accurate financial reporting for the firm's projects and business practices.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Project Accountant & Design Managers to establish successful business relationships and ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.
  • Review project work plans, budgets, and staffing plans to guarantee optimal fee management.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of contract terms as it relates to fee management.
  • Assist Design Managers in performing project start-up due diligence and adhering to Firm best practices throughout the project life cycle.
  • Provide timely and accurate invoices to Clients per contract terms.
  • Review project labor and expenses with Design Managers for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Maintain organized project contract files and serve as the financial and accounting liaison between the project, studio, and local/corporate accounting teams.
Benefits
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of project accounting experience in a professional service firm, preferably an architecture or design firm working across large-scale projects.
  • Experience in project accounting for APME markets is beneficial.
  • Highly proficient in Excel; experience with Deltek Vision software is a plus.
  • Tableau Data Application experience a plus.
  • A competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with reimbursement for certain professional qualifications and associated renewals and exam fees.
