About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and undertaking statutory audits and being involved in all stages of the audit process from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and undertake statutory audits and be involved in all stages of the audit process from planning to completion.
  • Show initiative and take responsibility for management of the audit and team to ensure completion within the agreed budget.
  • Manage on-site teams and assist in the supervision and development of the team.
  • Deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Supervise audit teams on site, review the work of Associates and assist Senior Audit Managers in project management and client liaison.
  • Report to a Senior Manager on large complex audit assignments, as well as manage a small portfolio of clients.
  • Carry out work profitably and on a timely basis, in accordance with the firm's professional standards and to the satisfaction of our clients and audit senior managers.
  • Support the team in delivering a quality audit timetable and provide insightful comments to report to the client.
  • Manage and lead assurance and risk management projects – liaise with clients and prepare client reports.

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role is to lead teams on a range of Audit assignments and manage work in progress and billing on client assignments.

Required Qualifications:

  • CCAB body membership, e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, ICAI, AICPA.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
