About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Galliford Try. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of our construction projects, working closely with our project teams to ensure that all commercial aspects of the project are managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of tender allowances and measurement and valuation of works
  • Agreement of valuation dates and preparation of interim valuations
  • Administration of Main Contract and Subcontract conditions
  • Subcontract and Design Procurement
  • Subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
  • Submission of Cost Value Reconciliations
  • Preparation of cost to complete
  • Cash management and maximisation
  • Cash Flow and Turnover forecast
  • Provision of standard reports

About You:

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors. You will have a good knowledge of monthly reporting and be able to demonstrate excellent team player skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification (HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma) or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors
  • Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting
  • Excellent team player skills
  • Ability to work independently
