Support Worker for Students with SEMH Needs

GSL Education - Hull is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to assist students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The ideal candidate has experience working with SEMH students, a flexible approach, and an updated CV with a valid enhanced DBS certificate.
About the Role:
The successful applicant will provide one-on-one and group support to help students engage with learning, manage emotions and behaviour, and achieve educational goals. This involves implementing behaviour management strategies, offering emotional guidance, and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized support to students with SEMH needs
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
- Offering emotional guidance and support
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
