Location: Remote (must be based in the UK)

Salary: £60,000 + shares + benefits

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our software product that will have a significant impact on how we understand and relate to nature.

Responsibilities:
Create, implement, and maintain high-performing, adaptable, and dependable backend infrastructure.
Work closely with frontend developers to merge user interface components with server-side functionality.
Build and enhance both internal and external APIs, focusing on scalability and peak performance.
Identify and fix issues within live production settings.
Participate in architectural decision-making as the platform continues to expand.

Requirements for Success:
Deep knowledge of Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, SQLAlchemy).
Expertise in database architecture, administration, and optimisation.
Solid foundation in constructing RESTful APIs and utilizing cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Familiar with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
Genuine passion for utilising technology to drive positive environmental change.
