About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Surveyor to join our team in London. As a key member of our Cost Management team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients and design teams on cost, value, and risk.

Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality cost management services, including pre-contract estimating, procurement, contract administration, cost reporting, and final account resolution.

You will work closely with our senior cost managers and associates to deliver projects of varying sizes and complexities, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of cost management principles, excellent IT skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to clients and design teams on cost, value, and risk
  • Deliver high-quality cost management services, including pre-contract estimating, procurement, contract administration, cost reporting, and final account resolution
  • Work closely with senior cost managers and associates to deliver projects of varying sizes and complexities
  • Develop strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team
  • Ensure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of CM services
  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to utilise digital measurement, cost planning, and tender document tools
  • Understanding of a variety of project types, sizes, and sectors, including residential and commercial/mixed-use developments
  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team
Qualifications
  • Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management
  • Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB, or other equivalent institution
