Job Title: Young Person's Wellbeing Practitioner


Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Young Person's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at The Hive. As a Young Person's Wellbeing Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional wellbeing and mental health of young people aged 16-25.


Key Responsibilities:


• Build trusting relationships with young people and provide non-formalised therapeutic techniques to meet their needs
• Identify and refer young people with more complex mental health needs to appropriate agencies
• Support young people to access a broad range of in-house and local services
• Collaborate with local services to ensure integrated support for young people
• Carry out tasks across all areas within the service with flexibility and adaptability


Requirements:


• NVQ level 2 or BA/BSc degree in a related field
• Experience working with young people in youth-based settings
• Providing one-to-one support to young people
• Knowledge of good practice in emotional wellbeing and mental health delivery
• Ability to work alongside staff from diverse agencies
• Understanding of risk management processes
