Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Departmental Operations Coordinator to assist the Section Manager in the inspection, maintenance, and renewal of assets. This role involves supervising and checking the quality of work delivered, adhering to company policies, and undertaking specific inspections as directed.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure assets meet standards and are compliant with regulations.
- Assist in the management of staff, including monitoring work quality, compliance, and asset condition.
- Provide accurate information to update systems, databases, and records.
- Participate in staff surveillance, work quality checks, and asset condition assessments.
- Collaborate with the Section Manager to identify and propose asset renewals.
- Awareness of cost and waste control techniques is essential for this role.
- Effective communication skills are necessary for this position, as you'll be working with various stakeholders.
- A relevant NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) is desirable, but not mandatory.
