About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Gas Service Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Gas Service Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' heating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers to resolve complex issues and provide technical support
  • Conduct site inspections, post-work inspections, and engineer meetings to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Attend service and reactive breakdowns to fault find, diagnose, and repair heating systems in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Provide high-level first-time fix and customer care using knowledge and boiler fault-finding experience
  • Carry out day-to-day responsive maintenance, service, and repairs as instructed
  • Ensure all works and repairs are completed safely and in accordance with current codes and practices
  • Liaise with management and clients to ensure all works are completed
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience as a lead engineer
  • Recognised gas apprenticeship and Commercial gas certificates ACS - CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, CKR1, CPA1
  • Gas experience within the commercial sector, including analysing, fault finding, service, repair, and maintenance on gas/heating installations and appliances
  • Working knowledge of test equipment, including an electrical multi-meter
  • Flexible approach due to travel aspect, with ability to work additional hours over and above contracted hours if required
  • Be part of the emergency call-out team on a rota basis
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and other members of the public
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Basic IT Skills
  • Must have had or willing to have all Covid vaccinations
