Payroll Officer - Temporary Opportunity

Your new company is seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to work with a friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process company payrolls, ensuring accurate calculations of all payments and deductions.
  • Check and process timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all relevant payments are made according to set timescales, to both employees and other appropriate entities.
  • Complete necessary payroll month end reconciliations.
  • Process the company pension schemes according to auto enrolment legislation and ensure accurate submissions within the deadlines.
  • Process payroll year-end reporting according to relevant legislation and within deadlines as set by internal and external requirements.
  • Prepare and issue all relevant periodic or occasional payroll documentation such as P60's and P11D's according to HMRC or other deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel for payroll calculations and reporting.
  • Previous experience of running end to end payroll.
  • Strong communication abilities to interact with staff and members effectively.
