Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geodesy Specialist to join our team at Experis UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing geodetic technical advice and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide geodetic technical advice and support to our clients
  • Transfer of graphical data between GIS systems
  • Assist with the validation and appraisal of the geodetic content of incoming hydrographic surveys
  • Lead as Magnetics POC, communicating with external stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver geodetic training to staff and external customers
  • Advise the business on hardware/software systems to carry out geodetic calculations and maintain the databases of geodetic information

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a hydrographic or geodetic environment
  • Knowledge of coordinate reference systems and map projections
  • Experience working with GIS software
  • An understanding of the operational significance of the Geodetic Data for Hydrographic Surveying
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Data analysis and IT coding skills would be beneficial
