Tribologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Tribologist to join our team at Muc-Off, a leading supplier of specialist cycling cleaning and maintenance products. As a Tribologist, you will be responsible for defining and delivering value from the field in pursuit of our performance mission.
Key Responsibilities- Design and run tests to measure the performance and wear of lubricants, coatings, and surface treatments.
- Manage complex data streams and construct timely and clear reports to inform business decisions.
- Condense large amounts of data into concise reports and adapt ASTM testing standards where possible.
- Design and refurbish test tokens used in tribology testing across a range of substrates.
- Experience of tribological testing of lubricants, coatings, and surface treatments, as well as data management techniques and sampling requirements.
- Relevant PhD or research-based qualification in a relevant field.
- Experience with statistical analysis, data management, and wear measurement techniques.
- Strong written and Excel skills, with the ability to create clear and persuasive reports.
- Experience with the Bruker TriboLab and Origin graphing software is a distinct advantage.
