Sanitation and Compliance Specialist

Kellogg is seeking a skilled Food Safety Technician to join their team in Wrexham. This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for executing strategies to ensure exceptional plant sanitation and housekeeping standards comply with company policy and statutory regulations. They will also support the implementation of systems and practices associated with the 7 Core Programme in Housekeeping & Sanitation.
- Compliance: Ensure onsite sanitation and housekeeping policies/procedures adhere to company policies and relevant certification bodies.
- Master Sanitation Schedule: Develop, maintain, implement, and continuously improve the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
- Pest Management: Support pest management activities, including on-site management of pest visit actions or recommendations raised.
- SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures): Create, upkeep, execute, and continuously improve SSOPs related to plant-wide cleaning activities, collaborating with relevant parties.
- Cleaning Documentation: Oversee the creation and continuous improvement of end-of-run cleaning documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of HACCP principles, a Food Science or related scientific qualification, and a comprehensive understanding of sanitation systems, manufacturing process systems, quality and food safety programs, and controls.
