As a key member of the Transportation team at Kier Group, you will play a vital role in developing and designing highway maintenance schemes that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementing highway maintenance schemes in accordance with approved design procedures and systems.
  • Developing and producing detailed AutoCad scheme drawings, bills of quantities, inspection and test plans, and pre-construction information documentation.
  • Delivering detailed designs with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, policies, strategies, and technical guidance.

Requirements:

  • A HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering, with experience in highways maintenance.
  • A thorough understanding of highway design principles and the ability to produce drawings in AutoCAD, using software such as Keysign, Keyline, and AutoTrack.
  • Good working knowledge of H&S, including CDM 2015, and a driving license to visit various sites and depots.
