Job Summary:
The Evening Janitor role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of our office areas, leisure room, and tea point during evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Office Cleanliness:
    1. Ensure all desks and work surfaces are cleaned regularly.
    2. Maintain the cleanliness of carpeted areas through regular hoovering and mopping of vinyl flooring.
    3. Empty and replace waste bin liners as needed.
    4. Clean window sills and desk dividers thoroughly.
  2. Leisure Room and Tea Point Duties:
    1. Sanitise all work surfaces, splashbacks, and tables after each use.
    2. Keep sinks, taps, and draining surfaces clean and free from bacteria.
    3. Empty kitchen bins and replace bin liners daily.
    4. Operate dishwashers as required.
    5. Clean storage cupboards regularly on a rotational basis.
    6. Remove expired food from fridges and wipe down surfaces on a rotational basis.
  3. General Tasks:
    1. Address any marks or stains on doors and windows promptly.
    2. Respond to spills on carpets using the correct cleaning materials.
    3. Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled.
    4. Communicate any issues or maintenance needs to the Cleaning Supervisor and/or Facilities Manager.
    5. Comply with all health and safety procedures at all times.
  4. Personal Skills:
    1. Develop strong communication and problem-solving skills.
    2. Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
