At GSL Education, we are seeking an experienced SEN Qualified Teacher to join our dedicated team in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs (SEND). As a SEN Qualified Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering specialized teaching tailored to meet the individual needs of students across primary and secondary schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum.
- Deliver specialized teaching to students with SEND needs.
- Support students in one-to-one or small group settings.
- Monitor and assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Work closely with SENCOs, staff, and guardians to upgrade the academic strategies.
Requirements:
- Holding QTS or equivalent degrees such as QTLS, NQT, or ECT is mandatory.
- Prior experience as a SEN Teacher is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
