Eleven Recruitment is partnering with a leading chemical business to find a highly skilled Senior Process Safety Specialist to lead their UK site in Hampshire.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety and COMAH regulations, including permit to work systems, security and access control, emergency response plans, and incident reporting systems.

* Provide expert Process Safety guidance for incident investigations, process hazard analyses, PSSRs, management of change, and engineering project activities, ensuring an active and visible safety/process safety program.

* Conduct and facilitate safety meetings and training, ensuring Process Safety risks are ALARP and UK employees, visitors, and contract workers are not exposed to Health, Safety, and Security risks.

* Lead the management and continuous improvement of plant safety and process safety activities, ensuring compliance with applicable UK legislative requirements, corporate policy, and industry standards.

**Requirements**

* Degree in Chemical Engineering or a Process Safety related course
* Minimum 5 years experience with Process Safety/COMAH in a chemical environment
* Working knowledge of UK Safety and Process Safety requirements
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
