Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a specialist in teaching Physical Education to GCSE and A-Level students, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons that promote academic excellence and physical well-being.

About the Role:

  • Teach Physical Education to GCSE and A-Level students, developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's Physical Education curriculum, ensuring it aligns with national standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver extracurricular activities, sports teams, and events that promote physical activity and school spirit.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events to stay updated on best practices and contribute to a positive school culture.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • PGCE or QTS qualification.
  • Experience working as a Physical Education Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
