Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Automation Specialist to make a significant impact on high-profile projects while advancing their career within a supportive and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and collaborate with electrical and automation engineering teams to ensure client needs are met in line with company quality standards
  • Design, implement, and manage electrical control systems, including PLC I/O lists, electrical schematics, terminal lists, and cable schedules
  • Conduct site surveys, create specifications for procurement, and oversee the selection and installation of electrical components
  • Supervise electrical installation subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project timelines, and health and safety regulations
  • Support commissioning activities, including dry and wet testing, and provide final project documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Strong knowledge of IEE Wiring and ATEX regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK and internationally

Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
