We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Band 5 mental health senior support worker. The role will be based in the Integrated Response Hub and will involve providing a biopsychosocial approach, emotional support, and safety planning using a trauma-informed approach to service users and carers.

The successful candidate will have experience in working in acute mental health care and will be able to articulate their reason for applying for the role. They will also have a genuine interest in working within a multi-disciplinary team providing assessments and treatment for individuals with mental health difficulties.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide a biopsychosocial approach, emotional support, and safety planning using a trauma-informed approach to service users and carers.
  • Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team providing assessments and treatment for individuals with mental health difficulties.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, service users, and carers.

  • Relevant core profession within health and social care.
  • Professional qualification held (NMP, HCPC).
