CAD Draughtsperson Trainee Position

We are seeking a talented CNC Machinist to train as a CAD Draughtsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC mills and/or lathes and a genuine interest in learning CAD draughting software.

As a Trainee CAD Draughtsperson, you will learn how to use SolidWorks to design new products and components, maintain historic drawings, and create drawings for our original mechanical component parts and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Learnging SolidWorks to design new products and components
  2. Maintaining historic drawings and recording changes
  3. Creating drawings for original mechanical component parts and equipment
  4. Working in a clean and well-equipped environment
  5. Access to all necessary software and equipment
Requirements:
  1. CNC Milling and/or Turning experience
  2. A genuine interest in learning CAD draughting software

We are open to considering applications from candidates with good CNC Machining skills, or those with experience in both CAD and CNC Machining looking to make a transition into CAD Draughting.
