An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and compassionate Midwife to join our dedicated team providing high-quality care to women and families with complex needs.

You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care, breaking down barriers and promoting access to maternity services for women with socially complex lives.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based care, implementing individualized midwifery-led plans in partnership with women and the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing antenatal and postpartum care, reporting deviations from the norm and responding to emergency situations.
  • Working in partnership with healthcare professionals and agencies to provide seamless care and support.
  • Liaising closely with the Safeguarding Team and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning.
  • Recognizing vulnerability factors and working closely with social care and safeguarding teams to assess and address needs.

Requirements:

  • Registered Midwife with a First degree in Midwifery or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of a preceptorship programme or equivalent, with evidence of working in various settings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
