Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Newbury Building Society. As a key member of our Treasury team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Treasury in the management of the Society's liquidity, wholesale funding, interest rate positions, and treasury and ALM-related projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Treasury in the management of the Society's liquidity, wholesale funding, and interest rate positions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of treasury and ALM-related projects.
  • Produce accurate minutes at the Assets & Liabilities Committee.
  • Work closely with the Treasury and Finance teams to ensure the highest quality service experience.

Requirements:

  • Academic background in mathematics or economics and/or work-based experience of Treasury or Accounting.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft packages, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of working with internal and/or external customers to ensure the highest quality service experience.
  • Prepared to study or studying towards relevant accounting or treasury-related qualification.
  • General understanding of the financial services industry.
