Job Title: SEN Support Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 or small group support for students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, promoting their academic, emotional, and social growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to develop and deliver individualized learning plans.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment that supports students' unique needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities.
  • A caring, patient, and positive approach to supporting children's individual needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
