About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Arts Educator to join our team at Wayman Education. As a specialist recruitment agency, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional education solutions to schools across the UK.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Art at Key Stage 3 and 4 in a well-resourced department within a prestigious mixed school in Mildenhall. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a formal teaching qualification with QTS and have a strong ability to inspire students. We welcome applications from overseas teachers who meet these requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Art lessons at KS3 and KS4
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to diverse student needs
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues and senior staff
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience of teaching Art in a UK setting or relevant experience abroad
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will benefit from:
