We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Equipment Repairer to join our dynamic engineering team in Glasgow. This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, plus benefits, and the chance to work on a variety of challenging projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with servicing, repairs, and maintenance of cranes to ensure they meet our high standards of safety and performance. They will work alongside our skilled Maintenance Supervisor and Fitters to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing faults with heavy machinery, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing faults with heavy machinery
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
