Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe welding tasks in various positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead.
  • Weld using TIG and MMA techniques.
  • Work with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and chrome.
  • Handle pipe sizes ranging from half inch to 18 inches.
  • Determine required equipment and welding method, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
  • Read and understand project ITP documents and drawings to plan layout and procedures.
  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of pipe and spools during assembly.
  • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
  • Guide trainee welders as needed.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
