About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective care plans.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure person-centered care.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health nursing.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 6 months paid experience in a mental health hospital environment within the last 3 years. You will need to be registered with the NMC and have a strong understanding of current nursing practices. MAPA or Safety Intervention training is desirable, but not essential. We offer training and development opportunities to support your career progression.
