Senior Sonographer - Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sonographer to join our team at Compass Associates. As a Senior Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound scans in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound scans in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including 3rd trimester scans and general ultrasound scans.
  • Work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques, and provide training and support to junior sonographers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ultrasound protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Sonographer.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology ultrasound in the UK.
  • Advanced qualification/certification in sonography (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
