Fawkes & Reece West Midlands is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their East Midlands Office.

About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the financial control of contracts from inception to completion, working closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure accurate information for Contribution Forecasts and Monthly Cost/Value Reports.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Produce accurate financial information for Contribution Forecasts and Monthly Cost/Value Reports
  2. Efficiently report on site progress and ensure correct procedures are implemented for 'Extension of Time' applications and recovery of 'Loss and Expense'
  3. Maximise profitability and cash benefit for the company
  4. Control and administer sub-contract accounts
  5. Re-measure all site works
  6. Liaise with Contract Management on Cost Control and all financial matters relating to the contract
  7. Ensure Architects Instructions and Variations are obtained and properly valued
  8. Progress settlement of Final Accounts
  9. Efficiently procure sub-contractors

Requirements

You must have an HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
