Position Overview

  • Our Investment Servicing RFP team is looking for a skilled RFP writer who is familiar with the RFP and sales process for back- and middle office products.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in an investment servicing RFP role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Project management of detailed client proposals covering State Street's Investment Servicing product suite from deal kick-off to dispatch of the final response.
  • Sourcing, reviewing, tailoring, proof-reading, editing and drafting accurate response content.
  • Working in close cooperation with the sales teams, product managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure proposal input is well-written, accurate, balanced, persuasive and timely.
  • Contributing new and updated content to the RFP database to support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Using technology to support the end-to-end RFP process to enhance project management and response quality.
  • Contribute to innovative projects to keep the team at the forefront of RFP processes, best-practices and technology.

Job Requirements and Minimum Expectations

  • Excellent English language writing, proofreading and editing skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional project and time management skills and with the ability to work to a high standard in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Highly collaborative team player.
  • Experience with RFP software (e.g. Qvidian, Responsive, Loopio).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially MS Word.
