Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting children's play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Assisting with personal care routines such as toileting, dressing, and meal times.
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and supporting children's development milestones.
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements

To be considered for the role of Nursery Assistant, you will need:

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A warm, caring, and patient personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and practices.
