We are seeking an experienced Water Management Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in flood risk assessment, surface water flood alleviation works, and complex foul and surface water drainage strategies.

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals looking for a new challenge within the water management sector. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in consultancy, preferably in the private sector, and hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent science or commercial experience.

The salary for this position is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

* Lead a small team of engineers in delivering Flood Risk Assessments and detail design of foul and surface water SuDS.
* Manage day-to-day operations, preparation of fee proposals, and financial and technical aspects of projects.
* Prepare Flood Risk Assessments, conceptual and detail design of flood protection measures and drainage strategies.
* Supervise multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
* Design flood alleviation schemes and foul and surface water/SuDS drainage systems.

Requirements:

* 8-10 years of experience in consultancy, preferably in the private sector
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent science or commercial experience
* Either CEng (MICE, or CIWEM) status or equivalent commercial experience
* Solid knowledge of the planning system, Current Policy, and design guidance (NPPF, PPG, FWMA 2010, WIA 1991, LDA 1991, SuDS Manual, Sewers for Adoption/Design and Construction Guidance – Sewerage Sector guidance)
* Knowledge of QGIS and river modeling software is an advantage
