Job Title: Software Components Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Components Lead to join our team at Renishaw. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of graphics and CAD components for our MODUS and other products. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical leader to take ownership of software products and ensure their design and implementation meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality graphics and CAD components for our products
  • Lead a small team of software engineers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to break down feature requests into manageable work
  • Take ownership of software products to ensure design and implementation meet the required standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software engineering

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in C++ and.Net frameworks, especially WPF
  • Experience of using standard software engineering tools, such as Git and Azure DevOps
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, setting objectives and monitoring progress
  • Desire to continue learning and improving through continuous improvement
  • Valid passport and driving license for occasional travel
