About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Growing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our horticultural operations team, you will be responsible for leading the development of teams in all aspects of growing from seed sowing to picking.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating plant management schedules and spray programmes to ensure high-quality produce.
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure the team has the necessary resources.
- Implementing Standard Operating Procedures and coordinating labour.
- Ensuring Health and Safety is a top priority across all sites.
Requirements
- A background in horticulture, preferably in commercial growing or horticultural operations.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Ability to understand and manage the seasonality of a business like ours.
