Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced VP, Global Regulatory to lead our regulatory affairs team and ensure compliance with U.S. and international telecommunications laws and regulations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing legal teams across diverse geographic locations and will be responsible for developing and aligning regulatory imperatives with our strategy and go-to-market initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with U.S. and international telecommunications laws and regulations.
  • Oversee the team of attorneys and legal professionals that advises the business on a wide range of communications law matters.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a geographically dispersed team to ensure the team's success and alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage global regulatory issues and partner with our Global Public Policy team to oversee the implementation of regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Identify and highlight significant industry trends, legislative developments, and emerging legal issues impacting the telecommunications sector.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
  • At least seven to ten years of relevant legal experience with a focus on U.S. and international communications law.
  • Proven experience managing legal teams in a global environment and excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to provide sound legal advice in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
