Electrical Installation Specialist Job Description

About the Role:

  • As an Electrical Installation Specialist with PH Jones, you will be responsible for conducting full electrical home upgrades, installations, maintenance, services, and repairs.
  • You will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely manner, ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders, inspect and test electrical systems to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and managers.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a City & Guilds Electrical Installations or equivalent L3 NVQ qualification.
  • Level 3 Technical Certificate including the national Electrotechnical Training (NET) AM2 Certificate.
  • Up to date City & Guilds 2382 – b.s. 7671 IET Wiring regulation certificate - 18th edition.
  • City & Guilds Installation and Testing 2391 or 2394 and 2395.
  • JIB card or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid in-date driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Must own a roadworthy bulkheaded van.
  • Minimum 2 years' of recent work-related experience.
  • Must be able to provide a variety of LTD company documents prior to set up.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Upper Tier Waste Carriers Licence.
