Edinburgh, Edinburgh, United Kingdom Capability Scotland Full time

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist looking for a rewarding leadership role in a dynamic charity setting? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Allied Health team as a Lead Speech and Language Therapist at Stanmore School and Corseford School.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people with speech, language and communication needs. As a Lead Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for leading a small team and ensuring the provision of a comprehensive Speech & Language service across both schools.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable qualifications and expertise in Speech and Language Therapy, with experience working with children and young people with complex needs. You should also be enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external contacts.

In this hybrid working role, you will have full autonomy over your diary and be able to dedicate time to making a positive impact on the needs of our students. Travel between schools will be minimal, and you will be based in Stanmore, where there is more demand for support.

We offer a competitive salary of £37,000 per annum (£24.55 per hour), 37 days holiday per year, free PVG checks throughout your employment, up to 8% company contribution pension scheme, and up to 3 x annual salary death in service. You will also benefit from perks at Work – shopping discount scheme, cycle to work scheme, and 24/7 employee assistance programme.

If you want a change from NHS or private practice and feel valued working for a reputable charity, we encourage you to apply now. Please note that we will respond to all applications within three weeks of the closing date, and you can track your application in your profile management settings.
