Job Title: PMLD Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

About the Role:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with PMLD, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with personal care and mobility needs, ensuring the well-being and comfort of each student.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to implement individualised learning plans.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting independence and confidence.
Requirements:
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to get a new one.
  • Experience working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
  • Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by students with PMLD.
  • Compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support professionals.
