Interview Process: Single stage onsite interview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer - B2 Licensed to join our team at Meritus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the certification of line, non-routine maintenance, and repair on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations
  • Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft
  • Completion of maintenance, including avionic and electrical systems
  • Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability
  • Supervision of avionic and electrical fitters and the certification of their work
  • Conduct off-aircraft avionic and electrical technical work in Av workshop as required
  • Assist in day-to-day running of the aircraft Hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of specialised test equipment relating to avionic and electrical systems
  • CAA regulations, particularly Pt 145, Part M Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM)
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance
  • Experience with SAP and ERP software
