Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client, a leading company in the design, manufacturing, and provision of custom computing solutions for mission-critical industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the electrical design process for projects, ensuring that solutions meet all compliance standards. Experience working in highly regulated industries, such as aerospace, defence, transportation, and industrial automation, is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop AC and DC power systems for various sectors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct electrical safety assessments and translate customer requirements into practical design solutions.
  • Lead the design for manufacture and testing, ensuring all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in designing low voltage DC power and communication circuits, as well as low and medium voltage AC power systems.
  • Experience with electric drawing software, preferably SolidWorks Electrical or similar.
  • At least a HNC/HNC in Electrical Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
