Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team in the Macclesfield area and support the delivery of business and client project H&S requirements and the company's H&S strategy.

The Job Requirements

This role requires a strong background in HSE with experience in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, process, and nuclear.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support project management teams in implementing company and project H&S requirements and objectives.
  2. Advise project delivery teams on planning and implementation of the company's H&S Management system, strategy, and objectives.
  3. Provide H&S support and advice to projects to ensure a structured risk-based approach.
  4. Conduct site audits and inspections, ensuring these are also undertaken by the project management team and supervision.
  5. Facilitate H&S specific training and awareness programs.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Good personal planning and organisation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation.
  • Excellent HSE legal knowledge and practical application.
  • Competent in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).

Salary: £45-55k plus car allowance (£5k)
