Recovery Coach

We understand that taking the first step towards recovery can be a daunting experience for those we support. As a Group Support Volunteer with Change Grow Live, you will work in a supportive environment to empower individuals to reach their full potential.

• Contribute to our groups program, currently held every Friday, focusing on foundations of recovery and building recovery capital.

To excel in this role, you should possess basic computer skills, enabling you to manage tasks, complete online training, and utilize our patient records system.

• A comprehensive induction process comprising both online learning and classroom phases, ensuring a seamless transition into the workplace.
• The opportunity to gain valuable experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

We require all volunteers to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Familiarity with local services is highly advantageous.

This is an unpaid volunteer position. However, as a valued member of our team, you will receive:

• A free DBS check and disclosure certificate.
• Ongoing support and supervision.
• The opportunity to develop new skills and enhance your employability.

To be eligible for this role, you must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to regular volunteering hours.

Please note that this position is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.

We estimate a salary of £20,000-£25,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.
