We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Consultant to join our team. This role primarily focuses on managing the procurement processes for indirect categories. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, finance, engineering or accounting.

This position reports directly to the Director of Procurement, and this is a remote work from home opportunity with flexible office space on demand. This Consultant role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional looking to advance their career and contribute to our company's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for indirect spend categories.
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Assess, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
  • Engage legal and other internal stakeholders in policy and process updates.

Requirements:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance or accounting.
  • 8+ years of work experience as a Buyer, Category manager, Purchasing Officer, or relevant role within procurement, finance or accounting.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent Excel skills.
  • Ability to gather, analyze and model data.
  • CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
