Fleet Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Engineer to join our team at Stagecoach Group. As a Fleet Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers who maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles, as well as managing plant and buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers to ensure the maintenance and repair of a modern and varied fleet of vehicles.
- Manage plant and buildings to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure vehicles are presented to high standards, with autonomy over resource management, stock, and people.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fleet management and leadership.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
