Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Product Safety Engineering Manager to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Joint Design Authority, you will be responsible for interfacing with Key Safety Functional areas and ensuring the delivery of safe and reliable products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with Key Safety Functional areas to ensure safe and reliable product delivery
- Review concessions and design changes for potential impacts to safety
- Represent the Joint Design Authority at the Technical Authority Safety Working Group and Platform & Secondary Propulsion Change Management Committee
- Manage the Joint Design Authority Hazard management Process and coordinate with the Build Assurance Safety Manager
Requirements:
- Proven stakeholder management skills and experience with senior board levels
- Hold a degree in a STEM subject
Desirable:
- Background in safety management
- Line management experience
