Job Title: Mathematics Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Educator to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Mathematics Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths lessons to students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Classroom Management: Foster a stimulating and organized learning environment that encourages student participation and interest in mathematics.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and qualifications.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student performance and report progress to parents and senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and a degree in a mathematics-related subject.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4).
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
