Job Description

Jefferies invites applications from highly skilled Financial Products Technology Specialists to join our Equity Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Global Securities Finance platform.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $160,000 - $220,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.

Main Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Developing and maintaining the core in-house platform, using advanced programming skills and expertise.
  • Collaborating with the business to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Owning specific projects or issues from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and effective problem-solving.
  • Working closely with colleagues and management to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Unit testing, user testing, and overseeing the production release cycle.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in C programming, with experience in both server and client-side development.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge, preferably with expertise in MS SQL Server.
  • An in-depth understanding of Securities Finance principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with swaps, repos, and triparty financing (desired).
